The Song Club is a specialized Club for music with multiple functions consisting of a restaurant, bar, showroom, VIPs room and CD store. In order to avoid a space with standard conflicting multiple functions, a large undulated, layered timber containment was created in the 410 sqm area to embrace individually the functions in an integral, natural motional sequence. It was called the ”interior mountainous landscape”. All seating arrangements were placed according to the surface relief, creating and enabling a free flow of movement as well as communication. The curved layering of the timber assured a flawless acoustic condition within a simple, pure atmosphere reflecting the affinity of the natural material.
