Welcome to the world of Miss Sixty. Here you can find a glamorous world of fantastic scenery and an imaginary reality. An organic space designed with curved walls, sculptured counters, soft and cozy surfaces with bright colors, all made to create a reality bigger than life. A space that gives you the freedom to be who ever you would like to be. The freedom to be yourself. This is the new concept of the Miss Sixty shops designed and realized by studio 63 associates situated in Florence Italy. The architects together with the client have tried to create a dream world inspired by the styles, designs and glamorous entertainment world of the 70’s. The reference to the 70’s was an input by the client wichy Hassan and evoked a profound and thorough research that was made later on by the architects. The organic forms of the furniture, the colorful bright colors with the shiny varnish, the heavy velvet drapes and the accent lighting, were all made in order to create a warm, feminine and glamorous atmosphere.

An atmosphere that reinforces the Miss Sixty brand as a young and glamorous women’s wear. The architects were mostly inspired by the graphic designs of the 70’s but not only. They have challenged themselves to transform two-dimensional patterns into three-dimensional structures, Taking patterns from wallpapers and textiles and transforming it into furniture. Quoting designs by Verner Panton as well as the music and performance of David Bowie. Although the concept is of a chain shop, every shop has its own characteristics related to the structure of the space and its location. Each wall of every store is thought of as a composition on its own. The infinite winding contour made by the shelves gives even the merchandise the opportunity to become part of the design. The Miss Sixty-chain shops are to be spread all over the world, from Tokyo to Los Angeles, from Berlin to Hong Kong. Using the references of the 70’s reassures a widely recognizable image with an intelligent common denominator.
