The “Geo Metrica” collection of centerpiece retrieves the graphic signs of Artias, star of French culture in the last century, a friend of Picasso who, after having adorned numerous awards and exhibited in some capitals of art, had landed in the region  Marche, where he spent the last two decades of his life.

What is your favourite colour? What color does your products identify with the most?Colour is a fundamental part of a product, and this is why it is applied very carefully. We are not all that fond of “pastel” colours, as we prefer to work with intense colours that convey emotions and that imply an ampler involvement of the senses.

Light, material, colour: how do the three elements dialogue in your projects?
A magic alchemy determines their relations and their prevalence on the object; it is a matter of a dialogue that is always open, and ready to define the crucial detail.

How much does the colour count for the commercial success of a product?
We don’t believe there is a univocal answer; in some cases it is crucial, and in others no colour at all may be a winning choice. Consider, for instance, the transparency of glass, which becomes synonymous with quality, and where the form and the function play a decisive role in giving the object is character, which often coincides with the emotion.

What role does colour play when designing a product, and in particular for your “Geo Metrica” collection?
In the case of Geo Metrica colour is an essential part of the design, it was born with the colour, which defines its manufacturing technology; a kind of chromatic stratification designed to give form to carefully studied geometries based on numeric control processes.
