Ex Vismara area renewal plan

The Vismara area is inextricably linked to the center of Casatenovo, and its reform represents a unique opportunity to rethink the entire structure of the town and its relationship with the surrounding environment.
The industrial enclosure is reopened to the city by creating a new sequence of public spaces in close connection with the context. A new ”marketplace“ between Via Manzoni and Via Don Rossi and new public gardens on the slopes between the church of St. George and via Greppi give citizens opportunities for socialization and recreation, alternating the vivacity of interaction with contemplative and quiet moments in a framework of high environmental quality.
