Cóm-oda is a set of folding chairs, which double as a side table when not in use. We wanted to breath new life into folding furniture that spends most of its time being tucked away and neglected in hidden corners.
This concept is strengthened by the image of one such antique commode printed on its surface. When the chairs are closed, the image becomes more apparent, as does the commode functionality. In order to give greater prominence to the concept,
we have used a basic structure and materials (wood and cotton, using the digital printing technique for the pattern), reducing costs and looking at those houses where the space is the most valued good.
