The experience of going back to intimate contact with nature, a revolutionary approach to the world of light, a long and difficult process of scientific discovery that has for the first time permitted reproduction of the mechanisms and optic phenomena that control light levels in nature, and specifically interaction of sunlight with the atmosphere, indoors, in architecture: CoeLux® is an optical system based on nanotechnologies which is capable of artificially reproducing natural light and the image of the sky and the sun, adding a new dimension to architectural space and improving the inhabitants’ well-being and positive attitude. The system is made up of three basic elements: a latest generation LED light source that reproduces the spectrum of sunlight, sophisticated optical systems for giving it the directionality due to the distance between the sky and the sun and nanostructured materials that recreate the Rayleigh scattering process that takes place in the atmosphere in only a few millimetres. CoeLux® goes beyond the experience of fire (artificial light) and takes us back to the essence of the sun and the sky, even indoors.
