As every year the "Area" dedicates an issue to a monography on an author or a firm that represents an outstanding case-study with respect not only to the architecturel but more generally to the world of art and the art of building. This year the focus will not be limited to just one personality but in most leading figures in the architectural and artistic Chinese landscape Chinese. The issue will include an introductory essay  by Xiangning Li, historian, critic and professor at Tongji University in Shanghai, and the presentation of the latest achievements of significant Chinese firms.
