An original "footprint", made of bright colours, unusual textures, camouflage patterns, flowery decorations and much more: Cibic Workshop has designed the interiors of the Glam Hotel in Milan, a four-star facility occupying one of the front areas of the most important entrances to the city, Piazza Duca d'Aosta. This is an important area faced onto majestically by the main railway station and that proposes an architectural wing in which of course the Pirelli skyscraper stands out. The new hotel stands ten floors high in which, in addition to the common areas, to the meeting halls and to the restaurant, 171 rooms are housed, ranging from standard to superior and from junior suites to suites.

The interior decoration project plays with the decors to embellish the hall, the breakfast rooms and the common areas and with colours to identify the different floors of the hotel, to each of which a univocal shade of colour has been assigned, giving consistency to the walls, coverings and doors. It is in this respect that the activity of Pietrelli Porte fitted in. They supplied all the doors of the rooms, flush with the walls, that in addition to ensuring high performance in terms of both safety and soundproofing, ensure perfect continuity of style with the walls of the corridors, re-proposing graphically the patterns and unmistakable knots of wood. The perfect plainness of the doors, equipped with electronic systems for controlling access to the rooms, is enriched by the numbers of the rooms, which propose a pop art style and a well-lit and captivating appearance.
