The Tbilisi Public Service Hall\u00a0is situated in the central area\u00a0of the city and it overlooks the\u00a0Kura river.
\nThe building is made up of 7\u00a0volumes that contain offices\u00a0(each volume is made up of\u00a04 floors located on different\u00a0levels). These volumes are\u00a0placed around a \u201ccentral\u00a0public square\u201c, which is the\u00a0core of the project, where\u00a0there is the front office services.\u00a0Offices are connected to each\u00a0other by internal footbridges\u00a0that stretches on different levels.
\nVolumes and the central public\u00a0space are towered above\u00a0by 11 big \u201cpetals\u201c that are\u00a0independent both formally\u00a0and structurally from the rest\u00a0of the building. Three of those\u00a0big petals covers the central\u00a0space. The petals, different for\u00a0their geometry and dimension,\u00a0reaches almost 35 meters\u00a0and they are supported by a\u00a0structure of steel pillars with\u00a0a tree shape, visible, as well
\nas the petals, externally and\u00a0internally from the building.
\nAmong the petals, that are\u00a0at different levels, are the\u00a0glass facades. The main\u00a0characteristic of these facades\u00a0is that these have been\u00a0released completely from the\u00a0structure of the petals, allowing\u00a0relative movements between the\u00a0facade and the spatial network\u00a0structure of coverage.\u00a0This decision was taken to\u00a0prevent that any movement\u00a0of the cover, mainly due to\u00a0oscillations for snow loads,\u00a0wind or thermal expansion,\u00a0can lead to the crisis of the\u00a0glass.
\nThe Tbilisi Public Service Hall\u00a0includes: the National Bank\u00a0of Georgia, the Minister of\u00a0Energy, the Civil and National\u00a0Registry.<\/p>\n
