Pavilion 2019.<\/p>\n<p>For this edition of the Serpentine, the designer has created a large structure covered with slate shingles, creating a mass of rock that seems to emerge from the ground of Hyde Park.<br \/>\nInside, the pavilion creates an intimate and shady space as a real refuge for contemplation.<\/p>\n<p>Describing the pavilion, Ishigami said: &#8220;The project plays with the perspectives of the built environment against the backdrop of a natural landscape, underlining a feeling of naturalness, as if it were born from the lawn, similar to a hill made of rocks. This is an attempt to integrate traditional architecture with modern methodologies and concepts, in order to create an extension of scenarios never seen before in this place.
