After years of research and education by the University of Study of Florence,\u00a0LDA_iMdA<\/a>,\u00a0founded in 1999 by\u00a0Gianni Bellucci\u00a0and Paolo Posarelli,\u00a0establishes itself as a winning architectural practice,\u00a0having been\u00a0invited to exhibit their work in various universities and been published in national and international magazines or books among which there is Area.
\nThe VoipVoice project, born in the Empoli manufacturing region of the Florentine countryside, is part of a research program which aims to reactivate industrial areas that saw in 2008 an hole in the construction process due to the building industry crisis.<\/p>\n

The VoipVoice project introduces a significative element, innovative and compatible with the state of the places where the new activity is inserted.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0main goals of the project are to break the boundary between private and public space by opening the front area of the building to create a new connection with the “city”, together with the use of an expanded metal on the facade, filtering without hiding the marketing and research work of the company.<\/p>\n

To recall metaphorically the digital network, on which VoipVoice’s business is focused, the architects chose to use the same material on the facade.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the exterior has been organized in a way to create views over the surrounding hills and landscape, instead of the industrial factories around the building.
\nAim of the architectural solution is also to\u00a0generate a perfect link between light, materials and shadows, so that it can produce above all, in the people who use the workspace, positive feelings, wonder and amazement.<\/p>\n
