The project area is located alongside Via Roma and a private street that define its eastern and southern borders, respectively, while it is bordered by another private property on its northern and western sides. A building of no architectural interest with one\/two floors on the southern side is found inside the area. In this area the Implementation Plan features a public parking area, bordering on Via Roma, and a building which will contain dwellings and commercial premises, in addition to green areas and private parking spaces for the aggregate. The project presented here features a public parking area of 850 sqm on Via Roma, with access organized at the point where this street joins the lateral private street, which thus becomes a characterizing and distributive element of the new arrangement. The parking area with space for 24 cars and two parking areas reserved for cars transporting disabled persons has been realized according to the constructive and aesthetic-functional details identified in the tables attached to the Implementation Plan. The internal viability \u2013 which does not interfere further with Via Roma \u2013 provides access to the green area and the private parking spaces, planned at the back of the new building, and to the underground parking inside the building (by means of a semi-circular ramp). The main facade of the building is arranged parallel to Via Roma; it has three floors above ground and a basement. The ground floor \u2013 on which commercial activities are located in the area facing Via Roma \u2013 features a large area near the public parking, a private area accessible for public use. This area is almost completely sheltered by the large, three floors tall portico which represents the distributive and representative element of the new project. It will be built with a vertical structure, partially in recomposed stone and partially in iron, and will cover the entire length of the facade and be four metres deep; this portico will moreover provide access, with a special passage placed orthogonally to the facade, to the rear area and the two stair and lift wells that connect the different floors of the building (of the \u201caligned\u201d type), in addition to the two small dwellings located on the rear of the self-same building. The two upper floors will contain dwellings, connected by the two aforementioned stair and lift wells; each of the latter serves two dwellings, each of which features a combined kitchen and living room and two bedrooms, in addition to the bathroom. The areas on the sides and back of the building feature a large green area with trees, accessible from the sidewalk and from the passage below the portico, and areas for vehicle traffic with private parking lots on ground level to the rear.<\/p>\n
