What is your favourite colour? What color does your products identify with the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Red is clearly my favorite color.\u00a0I try to work with affirmed and joyous colors.
\nI love different kind of colors depending of the objet functionnaly. I like working with colors \u201csmoked\u201d or colours that you can see with different eyes: a blue\/ green, a gray\/brown, a red\/orange.<\/p>\n

Light, material, colour: how do the three elements dialogue in yours projects?<\/strong>
\nThese three elements must interact so balanced.\u00a0However when I draw a lamp, material and light comes at first on the creative process.\u00a0Light and matter are closely related like a globe of opal glass which diffuses a soft and solar light.\u00a0Color arrive then, depending on the capabilities of the chosen materials. Sometimes you just need to let express the raw materials.<\/p>\n

How much does the colour count for the commercial success of a product?<\/strong>
\nI think the color have a great importance in the commercial success of a product. It gives the character of a product: happy or sad, anonymous or extravagent, female or male, dark or light.\u00a0Same object dressed with opposite color will tell a very different story to people.<\/p>\n

What role does colour play when designing a product, and in particular for your Binic Lamp?<\/strong>
\nBinic was developed with the desire to create a large range of colors. The whole family together, Binic is like a sweet in a candy store.\u00a0It stirs up the appetite! Color can give a personality, a sense or spirit to an object.<\/p>\n
