Linee morbide e sinuose caratterizzano Louisiana, la poltrona con pouf disegnata da Vico Magistretti e realizzata attorno a una struttura in acciaio schiumata in poliuretano espanso. Versatilità
e molteplicità delle finiture consentono di ottenere un’immagine frizzante e ironica oppure elegante e raffinata. Il rivestimento esterno è in cuoio nei colori naturale, rosso bulgaro, nero e marrone scuro; quello interno, staccabile a mezzo di cerniera lampo, in tessuto o in pelle, imbottito in ovatta di poliestere, bordato con fettuccia di cotone. Confortevoli ed ergonomicamente perfetti poltrona e pouf sono montati su ruote piroettanti di cui una frenata.

Vico Magistretti was born in Milan in1920 and graduated from the Polytechni of Milan in 1945. Since the ‘50s Magistretti focuses on industrial design. Its products have been exhibited in numerous international design exhibitions and are in the most prestigious museums in the world. He has won numerous awards, among them “La Medaglia d’Oro” at the Triennale in 1951, “the Grand Prix” at the Triennale in 1954, three “Compassi d’Oro”.  He had lectures in various cities around the world and has taught at Domus Academy in Milan and the Royal College of Arts in London for 20 years, and was appointed Royal Designer. In the field of industrial design, has worked with leading companies such as Artemide, Cassina, De Padova, Flou. He died 19 September 2006 in Milan.
