A source is where a great river is born, where earth restores what the sky has given it, to distribute it across the land, nurturing every kind of living organism. Source water is so clear because it has been filtered by kilometers of underground veins, that render it pure and drinkable for delicate human beings. This is why the first human settlements were built around sources, as this liquid was found to be the best, essential to life, hygiene and well-being. Those who have tried to bathe in a source have experienced and remember the real and psychological feeling of those underground fluids that support, massage and purify the skin and the body from all the pollution brought by our advanced "civilization". This has been the inspiring concept of the project, referred to precisely as The Source, which I have designed for Teuco. This firm has ever since it was founded been the prolific mother of my ideas, with a design oriented towards hygiene and wellness on the highest levels. Also this recent project reflects this philosophy; it is a upper-bracket product for environments dedicated to modern wellness with whirlpool bath, chromo-therapy, music therapy and relax. Installed at floor level, if possible , it is like a small oasis interpreted by a designer who is constantly in search of those natural sensations, that have sometimes got lost, in which mother nature has cradled us for millions of years.
Lenci Design was founded in 2001 on the forty-years experience of Fabio Lenci, combined with the enthusiasm of his daughters Maela and Juna, and with a staff specialised in technological and planning optimisation.
